Make A Difference ... VOLUNTEER!

It's fun!....It's inspiring!....It makes a world of difference to young people.

Why Volunteer / Be a Mentor?

• Get students excited about careers in your business or industry
• Motivate students with your expertise and knowledge
• Exercise your presentation, coaching and team-building skills
• Network with other volunteers

JA volunteers are an important source of inspiration for youth. They make economic concepts relevant, fuel the entrepreneurial spirit and challenge the students to excel. They serve as role models to help young people better understand economic concepts in order to become successful. Community Futures Wood Buffalo provides training, support and program materials to ensure volunteers have a fun and meaningful experience.
